The sandwich panel consists of two colored, galvanized, profiled steel sheets and a polystyrene core. The thickness of the sheets can be from 0.5 mm (0.6 mm on order). The panels are anchored with a visible joint. The main advantage is the low weight and thickness options from 50mm to 250mm.
These panels are widely used in the construction of buildings, storage areas, industrial and manufacturing warehouses, commercial areas, car showrooms, car repair shops, garages, agricultural warehouses and halls.

What parameters are important when ordering
When ordering, it is important to know, for example: thickness, type-type-joint, plating profile (external, internal), area in m2, number of pieces (pcs) and lengths (e.g. 8pcs-10m long) and, of course, color in RAL shade.

- high quality insulation properties (eg: PIR panel, 120mm has TIS U = 0.19 (W / m2.K) compared to YTONG 300mm brick plus facade polystyrene 8cm TIS U = 0.22 (W / m2. K))

Offer of Insulation panels (PIR panels)
PIR insulation panels are thermal insulation boards with a core of modified polyurethane (polyisocyanurate – PIR), which are protected on both sides by surface treatment with different types of adhesive and three types of joints. Thicknesses are from 20-250mm. The standard dimensions of the boards are 600 x 1200 mm; 1200 x 2400mm. Dimensions with plasterboard 1200 x 2600 (mm).
They are used to insulate roofs, perimeter walls, terraces, ceilings and floors of houses, industrial buildings, agricultural buildings, block of flats, storage areas, shops, manufacturing plants, sports halls, freezer and cold storage areas.
It’s basically a 21st century hit. The coefficient of thermal conductivity (λ = 0.023 W / mK) has the best of all available insulation materials on the market. So much better than mineral wool and polystyrene.

What parameters are important when choosing
When choosing insulation panels, you need to know the required thickness (from 20-250mm), the quantity in m², which you want to insulate (roof, wall, floor, terrace) and the type of surface treatment (from 9 types). These 9 types are further divided into two types, vapor-permeable and vapor-tight. For example, a PIR panel with aluminum to insulate the roof is vapor-tight, and a PIR panel with glass fabric to insulate the outer perimeter wall is vapor-permeable (glue and mesh are applied).

You will definitely need accessories to complete the assembled sandwich construction or insulation with PIR panels. Among the most important are self-tapping screws with an EPDM pad for fixing roof and wall panels, calots for better fixing of roof panels (more stressed joints), EPDM sealing tape important for sealing joints during sheeting of coverings and the sheeting elements themselves (edges) for aesthetics, protection and correct rainwater drainage.

Self-tapping screws for sandwich panels (screws)
TEX self-tapping screws are used to fasten sandwich panels to a steel, wooden or concrete structure. Self-tapping screws are made of noble galvanized or stainless steel (more expensive version) with an EPDM washer. Roof and wall panels are fixed with them without pre-drilling, except for installation in a concrete structure, where classic dowels with pre-drilling are used.

The diameter of the screw is 4.8 mm, the width of the head is 8 mm hexagon, the length of the drill bit is 5 mm. Screw lengths are from 16-60mm. We recommend it for fixing metal sheeting and roof coverings.

EPDM sealing tape
It is used for fast, effective and aesthetic sealing of joints in roofing sheeting and sealing of hard metal-to-metal joints in prefabricated constructions in metal structures.
Provides protection against water penetration, ageing, UV radiation, temperature, dust, drafts, humidity and thermal bridging. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use.
Tape thicknesses are from 2 to 10mm and widths are from 6-80mm. One roll is 10m long. It is applied directly to the substrate with a pressure roller at a temperature of +5 °C to +35 °C.

Shelling elements for sandwich prefabricated buildings
For aesthetics, protection and proper drainage of rainwater, sheeting elements (strips) are used, which are made of colored galvanized sheet with a thickness from 0.5 to 1.25 mm (standard 0.5 mm). The maximum length is 6m. Option to enter your own parameters.
The inner side is coated with polyester and the outer with 25 micrometer (um) polyester as a standard layer thickness. Colors are available in RAL shades as for sandwich panels.
